ifix it battery not working?
i just replaced my old iphone 5 battery with ifix it battery but it wont turn on..

What was the problem in the first place? Battery dying quickly or at random percentage?
It could be just a faulty battery and you could try another, if that doesn't resolve it, it could be charging port, or worst case scenario U2 IC chip problem.
Just ask for a replacement on the battery they sent, should be ok.

Both.. battery dying quickly and at random percentage... so I thought replacing with a new battery will fix it..got it replaced(followed the steps here very carefully).It is charging but wont turn on...help please??
Is the indicating showing the battery is taking a full charge? Is there a chance you may have somehow touched the power button ribbon or cable during the replacement?
Chances are it may be just a faulty battery, try another battery, as sometimes you can receive faulty items.
jkmauldin. no the battery is not taking a full charge either..I tried using it to my cousin's iphone but its not charging it either.. I was so careful in taking out the old battery and when I put it back(old battery), my phone is working..so I know , its a faulty battery! Thanks a lot for your help!
PhoneOpsPlus... you are right, its a faulty battery because when I put back my old phone, my phone started working again.. and I tried using the new batt to my cousin's iphone and it did not work or charge either..so I know its a faulty battery..thanks for all the help !
