Replace 1 GB memory module with 4 GB?

I have a 2.13 GHz MacBook5,2 (mid 2009) with 2 - 1 GB, 800 MHz memory modules. Would there be a problem if I replaced one of the modules with a PC2-6400 4GB module (IF111-038-1) for a total of 5GB of memory?

unibody does not come in 2.13ghz

It's a white case, if that helps...

Yeah it's not unibody its 1st gen type macbook look down at the answer your good to go !

Actually no it does'nt help your telling me unibody it says pro on the question and you have 2.13ghz, open your system profiler hit about this mac and tell me the ghz speed you got too much stuff going in this question.

No problem with taking it to 5GB.

If it's the regular first gen macbooks it will take up 6gb and PC2-6400 will work fine.

If the ram is upgraded and hard drive is upped to 500GB can you run the latest version of Yosemite??
