It died and won't wake up, will kissing it work?

Hello! Alright, here's the story:

My iPad mini (16 gig) was at 2% so I plugged it in before i went to work. I was at work about five hours, so once I got home I wanted to get on my mini (because what else would I do? Go outside?) but it wouldn't wake up at all! I even let it charge for a full day and night. I tried holding the power button (at intervals of two, three, five, seven, ten, and fifteen seconds) that did nothing. Tried holding the home button (same intervals) didn't work. Tried holding both (again, same intervals) didn't work. I am willing to lose the memory on my mini to get it to work again, even if a backup doesn't work I'm fine with that. I just want it to work again! Would sending it to you to diagnose cost a lot (not including repairs, because I really couldn't repair it, too many intricacies and tiny things i can break) and would repair costs be a lot? Also, please help!
