I dropped my buffalo HD-LBU2 once when it is transferring data. After that incident, the drive perform very slow write/read function. Copying/moving a file with 1GB took more than 30 minutes. I try to format the HDD, quick format took about 30 mins ~1 hour. Full format running for 48 hours still not complete, end up I terminate it. Any tools to diagnose the error?

The hard drive has obviously been damaged. It it won't take a "write zeros" full format, it is untrustworthy. You will need to replace the drive.
