Need to locate myProduct Key

I have my computer for about 5 years, so all packaging is lost. It came pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter, Now when trying to access my Word documents it is asking for a Product Key. How do I locate it

Are you still running Windows 7 or have you upgraded recently. Also, what version of Microsoft Office are you using?

It sounds like it is referring to the product key for Microsoft Office. Did you purchase Office individually, or was it included with your laptop purchase?
