4 Where is the fuse for the backlight?
Where is the backlight fuse on the logic board, mbp powers up fine I hear the startup chimes, fan spinning. But the display screen is black. I connect the mbp to an external (monitor) and it works. I need to locate the fuse and test it. Also need the ID number in case it needs to be replace.

Ok I check the contracts 38 39 40 all at 0.03. I know that this is bad. I had also found on the lvd connector some kind of white foreign substance together with a bent contact and that is only the beginning of other issues. Iong story short this logic board is going to the trash bin and try to get a new board.

ramoncastro, in order to help you out it would be beneficial if you could give us the number of your logic board. It should be a 820-XXXX number (possibly 820-2915-A ) and if you add some high res images to your question (front and back) then we could even point it out for you.

What is the history of this laptop? Any liquid spill? When did this happen? Flowing an incident of some sort?

Logic board #661-5852. The problem started when I tear it down(used ifxit guide) to replace the termal paste. No history of any kind of mishap.
