How restore data? Would not charge for a week. Now charged. Data?

How do I find / restore my data? It would not charge for a week. Now it's charged. Where can I find my data? How do I restore? It asked me for times, dates, sounded like a reset.

probably long overdue, but the memory on these earlier devices is volatile, and will be locally lost if the battery looses all charge. Data can be backed up to sd (if equipped), or to the palm os hotsync software on a pc or mac.
