No display after water damage clean

I have an iPhone 6 here that has been wet, I have stripped it down and cleaned it with Isopropyl alcohol and now the phone boots up and connects to the computer, but has no display whatsoever. The customer wishes to access their photos however the phone needs to be trusted before accessing it. Are there any ideas or suggestions anyone can offer?

have you tried connecting a new display that you know works? It wouldn't be the first time a display died because of water damage.

If that doesn't work, theres a damaged component somewhere on the board. Have a look with your microscope, look where there was initially corrosion you already cleaned off. If nothing is obvious then get out schematics and start testing components until you find the little rascal causing your problems. I'd suspect its NOT an IC.

I have tried all the obvious, tried 3 different displays yet nothing has come up. I have checked and clean all the diods under the chip shields. Yet nothing is displayed, I am led to the conclusion that the LCD Controller has been damaged from the inside, but I am wanting to confirm this here

Yes, bad display is most likely, then backlight filters, backlight diode would be next. If you didn't remove the shields for cleaning, then you will still have corrosion on the board. The backlight diode is under the shields. If you aren't set up for microsoldering or board repair then consider mailing it out. We address iPhones for data recovery after water damage if you can't find someone local.

I have removed all the shields as I always do when I repair water damage phones, however do you know where this backlight diod is?
