I have a 2015 15" MacBook Pro with a dented upper case (the keyboard assembly). I know about the glued battery situation and how the keyboards are attached. My question is, did the upper case change from the 2014 15" MacBook? I know the 2015 models have Force Touch, does that mean the upper case changed from 2014 to 2015?

The 2015 is the same model number A1398 as the 2013 & 2014.
Apple part number 661-8311 should work fine for you.

Thanks again Mayer! I thought the only thing that would affect the differences might be the force touch module. I'll do a few more picture comparisons.
15" Retina mid-2015 topcase part number is 661-02536.
I just got my Macbook Pro 15 mid 2014 back from Apple Store repair. 661-8311 is written on the paper as the part number being changed but the thing is audio jack is a little bit misaligned towards one side. The first thing that came to my mind was that they put a different year's top case and it does not match the product but then reading this comment I came to realize that it is just the repair guy's mistake. Do you think the audio jack is being damaged in someway?

To be clear the top case for mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15 inch is not the same as its predecessors. The part number for the 2015 model is 661-02536.
They are not interchangeable.
