My Ipod has been flat for a little while (less than a month) however it's not charging, the charging symbol thing is on however it's not actually doing anything, I've done the home and lock button for 30 seconds but nothing so whats up?

Try to power on the device when its plugged in. If the charging bolts shows up it should be able to turn on. If it does not, then the power button could be the issue. If power button works then id say a new battery should be installed.

The charger symbol comes on when pressing the power button
