Connections to Monitor Weak? Help I don't know! :(

My Acer laptop screen is smashed. So I am using my tv as a monitor. Now the screen is coming up with three different colours a green and black fuzziness! With a blue box around the centre. All it does it launches start up repair.. Any help? :(

Well. I have my xbox360 hooked up to the tv via HDMI as well.. And the Xbox works fine! It's just the laptop is showing three different colours? Even when I change the hdmi lead it still does it :(
