I can't charge my iPad 4
My iPad ran out of power and turned off. I then put it on to charge for about three hours. When I returned and tried to turn it on, only a low battery icon would come up. I tried a hard reset (home and wake button) for at least 30 seconds, but to no avail. The apple logo would never come up. The only thing that happened is that the low battery icon displayed itself twice.
I tried a different cable and plugged it into the computer. Same results every time. It's not charging. I also tried cleaning the lightning port. I have no idea what's wrong, and no I can't afford to send it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you plug in the charger does the device recognize it and light up with the charging icon at all? Or do you only see the dead battery icon when you press the power or home button?
