Hello,
I have a Mid-2015 MacBook Pro 15" Retina (the newest modell now). I need to replace the screen. I can not find any parts on the net stating exactly "2015". Does anybody know what screen assembly I can use for my model? Can I use a 2012 Retina display, 2013?

The problem I have run into on this is the different length cables coming out of the display. I'd really try to stick with the correct part. You might try contacting an ASP (Authorized Service Provider), and see if they will sell you an original new part. That failing there is a seller on eBay offering full repair for about $250. The same company offers the parts but so far my company has not attempted replacement as the installation is so difficult using the old shell. Thanks, I have changed many laptop screens but saw the Retina was a challenge. It is hard to find any local non-ASP repair shops other than Apple service providers (no ASPs here sell you any part they don't get to install), so I have no problem with changing this myself. An Apple ASP will charge you at least $1000 (8000 NOK) here for that! I am aware of the typical changes in cable length on same model numbers from different years. But little information on that to find. Thanks for the link. They can probably answer me.

I have tried both models on my MB Pro 15" Mid15. Although both fit perfectly (all connectors do too, except for the camera on the 2012 model) the backlight doesn't work. So you really have to use the right replacement part.

The screen is specific for the 2015 MBP Retina 15". I got a complete screen on Ebay for $350. Hard to get by and expensive but replacing only the LCD panel is a tricky and time consuming task. I could imagine almost getting it right, then maybe cracking the super thin panel so it seems sensible to buy the complete display and using a half hour to replace it. Apple would charge me almost $1000 for the same job!
