Piece of Cardboard Stuck in CD Drive

I accidentally put a small cardboard circle inside my CD Drive. I don't know how to get it out, and I have tried shaking it, using tweezers, a piece of tape, and a paper clip. I would really like to do this at home, and not have to pay to get it repaired. Thank you in advance.
