The same problem happens with my tablet its charging port broke i went to a mobile shop and fix it but it is temporary fix in 12 to 15 days it again broke.You cannot get its orignal port permenent..

Bought my tablet from John Lewis and returned it to them with this problem. They sent it back to Lenovo for repair under the guarantee but they said it was down to mis-use and wanted about £80 to repair it, at that price I may as well buy another cheap tablet and take my chances. (J lewis do give you a 2 year guarantee but didn`t offer me any assistance, tablet was just over 1year old)

The charge port is broken.
Since it's a micro USB (female) it should be possible to replace it on the motherboard.
How to open the tablet without braking it?
Is there any place to buy a spare glass?

I have this same dam problem, first on my TAB 2 and now on my TAB 4 , the part is an easy find, but the repair...........NIGHTMARE and the TAB 4, I can't even get it open.
