Powers on, Detected by Windows but doesn't work.

Hi guys, I've been fixing tech for the past year out of a local independent game retailer and I was asked recently to take a look at an Xbox One Controller.

The controller itself powers on but the buttons, analog sticks and triggers don't work. I'm currently running Windows 7 and my laptop detects the controller, I was even able to update the drivers but the controller still refuses to work.

I've disassembled the controller and I can't see any visible signs damage to either one of the two boards inside and the charging port looks good too.

I was hoping someone here may have some answers? I appreciate any help in advance.
