HDMI Problems and connecting

'''bold textMy HDMI cable attach from my notebook to the HDMI port on my Television is not working as it should be. When attach, all I am getting is the icons on the taskbar but none on the desktop and a different screensaver, I have tried unplug the television for 10 min, plug it back on, reconnect the hdmi cable, I usually use HDMI2, that did'nt work also the other HDMI port.

Hi,

Can you try a different device on the HDMI inputs of your TV, e.g a dvd player or anything with a HDMI output? This is to isolate the problem to either the TV or your notebook. Also if you can try a different HDMI cable, again to eliminate possibilities.

Can you try a different device on the HDMI inputs of your TV, e.g a dvd player or anything with a HDMI output? This is to isolate the problem to either the TV or your notebook. Also if you can try a different HDMI cable, again to eliminate possibilities. — jayeff
