Why do I have thin dark horizontal lines on my photos?

I am printing photos on my HP Photosmart C310a printer using HP Advanced photo paper. The quality of photo is excellent EXCEPT for very fine dark horizontal lines which are 1/2" apart.

I ran the "Clean Cartridge" on the printer, but that did not help.

The ink levels are good.
