2 Hey! What the heck happened to my Screen?
The screen went black but I can tell that the device is working. How would I get the screen to turn back on?

Howdy Sam, did you try pressing the home button? If that does not work, I would attempt to reset the device. If the screen is still black, you may need to replace it. Follow the additional steps on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Troubleshooting page before moving onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 repair page.

where can I buy a screen from, seems like the lcd and the digitizer are fused together.
