My HTC One M8 doesn't turn on or charge.HELP!

A week ago I connected my HTC one m8 to the charger.It was charging fine. I left it there and after 2 hours i checked if its working or not. I found that it was not turning on. The charging LED was working but when i tried to turn it on the charging LED turned off and phone didn't turn on.I checked if my phone has heat up issue but it was not heating up. I tried every trick i found possibly on internet to turn it on but it was a fail.I sent it to repair center to my friend and said that the phone has died.Phone instead of stepping the power up,steps the power down.Phone need a board replacement. Is there any way to repair motherboard as i can't find a motherboard here.

Have you tried another HTC One M8 battery? Has your friend checked if charger port is fine?

Charging port was working fine. I connected the phone to my PC and when i tried to turn on it gave me a beep(in my PC). But phone didn't show any sort of light or LED. And the battery was fully charged when he checked the battery.

Yeah, since the battery is fully charged, I think it's safe to say the phone is dead.

Is there any way to fix this issue? I will be greatful.
