How continue to use an ipad 1 that becomes to be old?

Hi !

Do you have any advise to improve the use of an ipad 1? As this ipad is a bit old, it starts to have some bugs and to work slowly.

I was thinking to put an other OS like Linux? But not sure that will be better or easy. What do you think about it? Do you have any other advise?

I really wish I had a good answer for you. I didn't buy an Apple watch because I knew the next ones would probably have a camera. I ending put giving mine to my granddaughter. Planned corporate obsolescence. No new app support.

indhy31 you may just run into trouble with a different OS since it most likely will not support the hardware. Delete all unnecessary apps and files. It is still a great tablet and you can continue to use it for the simpler things. Remember that as consumers demand faster, smaller, (and perceived)better devices, companies will have to drop supporting legacy devices. Ask yourself the question of what you need this iPad for and if the iPad still meets those needs. If it does not, or if you have higher expectations, purchase a faster, smaller, (and perceived)better device. Donate yours to people that may still appreciate it.
