No display iPhone 4s

My phone gives charging tone only when I plug the charging cable.once I removed the phone I noticed that the square type ic under the front facing camera connector wrapped with a black sticker is broken..what can I do to it

What is the history of this phone? Did it get dropped? Was a part replaced?
