Why won't my device's battery charge when it is plugged in?
My device is plugged into a wall outlet via the charger. The charging cable doesn't appear to be damaged and everything else looks fine visually.

Mr Betts,
I would assume that the internal battery is damaged or old, and wont hold a charge. If the battery is in state of needing replaced then your device may not even turn on.

My battery is new & I noticed this morning when plugging in to wall socket....it actually notified it will not charge while turned on. I am currently waiting for replacement unit because of recall.
i have just replaced my tablet with a new battery and it is only charging 5%. what is wrong?
