Hi All, i'm hoping you can help me. i upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and occasionally my laptop will freeze when it starts loading windows if the ac adapter is plugged it. when i boot with the ac adapter unplugged, it starts fine. i've tried reloading windows a couple times but that didn't work. i'm 99% sure it's windows 10 causing this, because this never happened with windows 7.

I think that something is wrong with your laptop's charger (i had the same problem with another laptop).

thanks for the reply. i thought that too, but I can't figure out why only windows 10 and not 7?
If i am right the high CPU usage of Windows 10 makes the computer to get more power from the charger causing this "lag". Check out the task manager immediately when you log into your computer and post back with the results to see if this causes the problem.
