computer won't boot up
When I turn on the computer the screen goes black and won't boot up

Agreed! try plugging into an external display and see if you can see anything. remember most laptops have a hot key to switch displays. Hope that helps...

This is a common problem what could be happening is the ram is ether corrupt or is not placed correctly if this is not helping the video card may be not working properly. if that does not help i don know then that what was wrong on my dell laptop. Thankyou
