My macbook was purchased july 2006 It will not power up at all no fan no sign of life at all. I replaced the dc in card and it did not help. It will not charge the battery either. Is there any trouble shooting that I can try? Thanks

Yes. I tried another power cord from a MacBook pro with the same result.
