Symptom
Video is normal but there is no sound.. -
Major checkpoints
When the speaker connectors are disconnected or damaged.
When the sound processing part of the Main Board is not functioning.
Speaker defect.
You'll require an oscilloscope to check the IC's
I recognize this is an older question, just answering for completion sake.

@odelljc23 what exact make and model is your TV (need a model number) what have you checked on thus far?

No Picture as in tv says no input or as in black nothing? (Try haveing the tv on without anything plugged in that will tell you if it's the tv or the input source)
