3 Touch works but becomes erratic, can be fully restored by lock/unlk
I have a 5s with an unusual problem. When the phone is booted or unlocked, touch works perfectly. As I use it, touch degrades within a minute or two, with the symptoms of either unresponsive touches or "ghost touches". If I lock and relock the phone, the cycle repeats. I've heard of ghost touches and unresponsive screens, but never this problem. I have confirmed the screen assembly is not the issue, since it works correctly on a different phone

What is the history of this iPhone 5? Any dents on the phone housing?

The issue appears isolated to the phone itself. The screen with the issue works fine on another 5s, and a known working screen displays the same issue with this phone's internals.
I got it used and don't have much history. I don't see any dents in the housing anywhere, and I'm pretty stumped by the fact that it works perfectly, but only for a few minutes after unlock.
