Nexus 7 doesn't power up no matter what

Before you guys suggest the 30secs power button hold, or the volume power button combo, or reconnecting the battery, or removing the battery for 2 minutes etc... I've already done all those things and more.

Here is what happened, a few years back my nexus 7 starting glitching. It got slower and would heat up some times with overuse. Then it turned off because I forgot to charge it and it refused to turn on again. I spend then next 2-3 days looking all over the net for solution and then it hit me, the nexus that is, it was sitting on my desk and as I tried to reach for it I dropped it from a height of 30cm or less. Suddenly a miracle, the nexus 7 opened up. I was so happy that I started using it again non stop and as I charged it to full battery I was sure it would never do it again, good nexus. Then the power went off as it drained the battery at night while I was asleep, and so once more it would not open.

After that I got desperate and tried softly dropping it from 20-30cm... It worked once but then back to 0...

Here is what I know, the battery works and it is charging normally. There is a buzzing sound when it has power (charging the battery or with the battery charged and connected) it comes from under the metal shield just below the battery connector. Now I know that it might be a loose connector that is causing the problem but dont know how to check for it and If I should go for it or if its something else. Anyways if anyone can help that would be great it's been years since I havent used it although it once opened (black screen though) since it says on the playstore that it connected recently probably one of the times I was trying to open but saw no response or so I thought. Maybe it's the screen connector?

Did you ever get this fixed?

Nope sorry, probably a component malfunctioned. Might have a burned capacitor or something. At first it was just a cable issue but the I guess I overcharged or something and it bricked.

If it is connected with the USB cable to a computer does it show up as an external hard drive on the computer? If it does then it IS alive but the display is not working.

If it briefly worked after dropping - not a good idea to do this as just a light tap will work - then it sure sounds like a connector problem.

Nah it's gone, it's 2 years later and I have tried lots of things then realized that it's not worth it now since there are much better tablets. I think I shorted something while trying to figure out the problem... so it's dead.

Just curious. What tablets are better? I haven't found one with as good a screen as the Nexus 7
