"Battery Is Not Charging" after battery replacement

Earlier today I replaced my RMBP's battery, because it had said "Service Battery" and I could not get more than half an hour of battery life unplugged ("Health" was down to 20-30%).

The new battery seems to be functional; it came with about 35% charge and I used it successfully for a while until it got down to about 10%. Then I plugged it in for a while and let it sleep, but when I came back it was still at about 10%.

Does anyone know what might be the problem? I believe I correctly reset the System Management Controller already (although it is hard to tell).

Here is some hopefully relevant information:

The power adapter indicator light is orange.

Voltage (mV): 10067

Design Capacity: 6600 mAh

Thanks in advance!

Hi, did you ever manage to fix this issue?

@bjimerson Not really; I put the original battery back in and turned it in to Apple to fix at a flat rate. Turned out to have bigger problems than just the battery itself.

Good idea, I think I'm gonna do the same.
