Non responsive edge buttons and right edge controls

My Xiaomi Mi4c fell on floor and display got damaged slightly in top right corner. Unfortunately, the invisible damage was far greater. The buttons on the lower edge stopped working altogether so I am using edge tapping instead of back button. Besides, right side covering about 1cm from the edge all along is unresponsive. Many apps like Instagram doesn't not support auto-rotating so I cannot use them due that.

I live in Berlin. Do I have any reasonable options or shall I simply root my phone and equip it with auto-rotating apps?
