Battery won't hold a charge

Hi! I have a MacBook Air that got a small amount of water on it. I dried it out and the computer is running fine. However, it won't hold a charge. I have replaced the battery and still no luck. The light on the adapter won't come on at all but the computer is reading the apapter. The adapter is keeping the battery at 41%. I've run a diagnostic on it and it just says not charging. The fan is running normally. Does anyone have any ideas of what it might be and how to fix it?
