Sound and charging not consistently working plz halp!

So last week after iOS10 went live my phone sound stopped working, meaning it does not ring, the alarm does not work, it will not play music from speaker or through aux cable although phone speaker during calls still works and will connect and play through Bluetooth. I tried to troubleshoot it at home, hard restart, reset settings, turned off Bluetooth, cleaned out aux jack and nothing worked. I took it to the apple store and they connected it to a dock to scan for issues. While doing this, it found multiple issues but the store rep swiped through to get to the sound related things and in doing so the dock stopped recognizing that the phone was connected. Since then it will not consistently charge, sometimes it will and sometimes not (doesn't matter what cable, connection, or energy source). Also, my computer will not detect my phone is a device so I have not been able to back it up and restore the settings. Not sure where to go from here but the phone is just over a year old and I really don't want to have to replace it :/
