Replacing the hard drive with a Solid State
Hello,
I would like to know how to replace my hard drive on my new 2010 mac mini. I am looking to install a 256GB Solid State Drive.
Is this even possible?

Any 2,5" SATA SSD drive will just do fine. Look for one with Single Level Flash, they are slightly more expensive but also more reliable and faster.

Good answer +
SLC flash is not in most current SSD drives, nor is it a good use of money that anyone needs to make, especially in October 2010 when this was written.
MLC flash drives already are fast enough to max out the SATA bus and are just as reliable. Don't waste your money looking for SLC flash.
