My iPhone 4 screen has shattered, I bought a new screen online but the screen in my iPhone 4 can not be removed from the LCD display. I have been given an iPhone 4s for parts, will the screen and LCD panel from the 4s fit and work properly in my iPhone 4?

Just order the correct screen that you need, the screens for the iPhone 4 are super cheap. It's not worth all the hassle of making everything fit, plus those phones don't have much wiggle room for extra things and you will have issues with closing that phone up, just order the right screen

The connectors are the same for the digitizer and LCD and the screen will function properly between the models but the parts are physically different and will not fit either way. The sensor layout is also different which would cause the phone to not work properly. The home button is also different.
So, no you can't.

As far as I remember the LCD is the same for iphone 4 and 4s but the bezel will not fit.
