I was just getting of the sticky thing that holds the battery in place when I suddenly saw a little rubber thing on the table where I was sitting.
I don't know what it is, but I'm sure that it belongs to the iPhone SE. Does anybody know what this is???

That black rubber gasket piece sits on this part here:
For clarifying:
The rubber part with the hole should sit on top of the purple / pink square part which if I'm correct the pink part on the front camera assembly is the ambient light sensor for sensing the amount of light for auto brightness.
While this image is of the iPhone 5 front camera flex the location is the same for the 5S version. Probably better to sit it on the screen side as there is a spot there that sits flush with it.
