Screen frizzing out and glitchy unless I warp it

Hey there, im having a problem with the screen of my laptop, im not sure if it is exactly the same model (and it has undergone several versions of windows aswell as 3 hard drive changes and it now thinks its a gateway computer, (yeah i know))

my problem is that the screen seems to have a problem unless warped into an... unsavory possision. as well as some minor damage to areas like the hinges and things of that nature. what i want to know is theres something that i can do to fix the screen that is cost effective im well aware that a new screen may cost about 25 dlls or so. i just want to make this thing last me a while longer.
