More info required,
Is it black screen ,is it entering into camera mode, has it been dropped, Have you got your finger over the lens,ETC ??
I would try resetting it via the procedure outline in the owners manual first

only a month old hasn't been dropped when i go to camera mode both screens go black lens is clear no objects in front of it when we first tried the camera a few weeks back was working perfectly fine
if its only a month old i would consider taking it back under warranty
