iPhone 5 works after battery replacement until drained(?) then dead
I'm currently trying to fix an iPhone 5 that works just fine after a battery replacement (as long as the battery has some charge, it seems). The phone will turn on, it will charge normally, and nothing seems wrong. The battery does seem to drain a little bit fast.
However.. as soon as the battery is drained (or so it seems) the phone will not turn on again. It won't charge, it won't light up when connected to the cable, nothing. Until a different battery (with some charge) is placed. It still charges if it's turned on.
Last time the battery drained over night, without touching it. This was after a factory reset too so I will assume it's draining too fast (no app causing it). Taking the phone apart and swapping the battery every time this happens is a hassle. Does anyone know which part would be faulty to cause this?
Thanks!
