Hey guys.
I have just recovered a water damaged iPhone 6s its all working apart from it just keeps searching even when you remove the sim card.
I have had this before & i have reflowed the GSM chip on the board with other iPhones i would like to try it with this one but I've never done it with a 6S.
I can't find any info online which chip I'm looking for any ideas please?

The entire lower half of the logic board (below the SIM tray or main flash chip) is the cellular subsystem.
I would not recommend just randomly reflowing it. The cellular subsystem is a complex self-contained system, any issue from power/data line shorts or simply a broken amp can cause the phone to lose signal. Since the cellular subsystem is critical for the phone to perform restore/activation and the main chips are encrypted and not easily replaceable, you should not attempt to repair it if you don't know what you are doing.

I'm not looking to replace it i want to try reflowing it before assessing whether i need to send it off for a chip replacement.
I have successfully reflowed many iPhone's with no service & searching issues but i know where the GSM chip is located as this information is online but i can't find anything for the 6s.
Where do you guys get your schematics for iPhones?

@tomchai offers sound advice but if you really want to try and reflow it, the IC is U_WRT_RF and it is located on the backside, lower portion of the logic board.
