Will there be a guide for completely replacing the case?

I have a Nintendo DS Lite that has a broken hinge. There is also a lot of wear and tear due to years of love. For this reason, I would like to replace the entire case to make it like new, as the easiest way to replace the hinge would be to replace the entire case (at this point in the DS Lite's lifespan). However, there is a guide for replacing either the top or bottom case, but not both!

Would it be best to follow the Upper Case replacement guide, and just use the new case when it comes to reassembly? Or would it be a good idea to make a separate guide?
