Why is my 6S replacement screens having touch issues

So far I've ordered about 13pcs from an independent supplier,

The first two screens I put on an associates 6s devices worked fine for about 10 minutes then started having Touch issues where it would seem as if it was touching/pressing things by itself even after putting another one on after but then I replaced it again and it has been a couple of days with no complaints from my associate. THEN I just got word back from another seperate client that had there screen changed today that by the sounds of things is having identical problems.

The first associates battery stayed in on the first two tries. And the other clients phone was dead pre repair.

Now as far as experience comes I've done a fair share of replacements I have no experience on board issues nor screen refurbishing.

I'd appreciate anyone's opinion, thank you.

It's a little difficult identifying what your problem is but I'm going to assume it is with the screen replacements you've recently done. Have you ordered screens from your supplier and had no previous issues before? It could be that they have switched where they buy/get parts from and have now supplied lower quality screens for the same price giving them more profit. They could be mixing in the quality screens left over with the lower ones and that would explain why some work and some do not. Not entirely sure but that's my best guess.

I've ordered previously from them before for 6 and 6 Plus and they have claimed to provide Tianma produced screens which have been fantastic. The first order of 6s screens was for 3pcs 2x having the Touch issue on the same phone and 1x that I'm yet to test that I've put on one of my own 6S (I should really test that and see if it has issues too) any personal preference on testing as I've noticed the issue arises after a little bit of time.

By "screen replacement you've recently done" do you mean I could have caused this to happen by installing it incorrectly??

No, I just assumed you had recently replaced the screen. It may just be your supplier's quality of the screen.

I have this problem too with my latest order. The whole batch was ghost touching. My supplier suggested I place kaptons on the ribbon under the front camera holder. I did that but it didn't help. I think it's a bad batch.

I'm having the exact same problem, I think it might be a static issue with the lcd, and it might be that it's an aftermarket lcd, Ive tried 3 different suppliers already and Im still having the same problem, maybe china is unloading their garbage screens before their holiday or something

My thoughts exactly, mine are so called tianma and I pay roughly $59 aud a piece, I know that there is all different qualitys but I feel ripped off like who does that to a client that's buying in big bulk

I've been using parts4cells.com and haven't had any issues for a good 2 months

Give parts.sourcely.com a try. I've been ordering their tier 1 6s screens with no ghosting or touch id problems. They also come with the display adhesive.
