Hard drive connector interface for A1304!?

After looking very closely at the pictures in your article it seems that the A1304 actually has a Samsung Sata 1.8" drive in it!! What is the largest replacement drive for a 1.6GHz A1304 Macbook Air ? Does this drive need a micro-Sata interface?

I had been led to search for a 1.8" Pata Zif 5mm drive because there is a comment in your article about there being "no Sata" connection on the Motherboard and then a reference to Pata/Zif. But there is NO clear indication in the article what the actual interface/plug actually is.

I've combed tons of forums and spec pages but there is no clear answer out there. And lots of people are asking.

Will this drive work?

It is definitely a SATA drive. The real question is what is the connection interface. Does a ZIF interface exist for SATA drives, or is it a microSATA interface?

I found a post on iFixit here that answers the question. HDD to SSD

It seems that the A1304 has a SATA drive with a LIF connector.

Now the only problem is where do I find one of those larger than 128Gig?

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, you must have you have a Mac Book Air rev b since this is the only machine to use SATA-LIF.

The Rev a used PATA, and the Rev C uses standard SATA (or micro SATA. Its not that clear).

Again I could be wrong of course since I am just lately getting into the MAC's.
