After replacing my screen, the phone will not boot. How do fix this?

I recently replaced my cracked screen on my 6 plus. However, after completing this the phone will not boot. It started out as a boot loop. I promptly went searching for answers. First, I read somewhere that cables might not all be plugged in correctly. I opened the phone back up and checked, all were plugged in properly. Second, I saw that putting your phone into "Recovery" mode and resetting the phone in iTunes would work but now I am stuck on the recovery screen. When iTunes tries to update the OS I keep getting Error code 4013. I have tried everything apple recommended including contacting them. They said there was nothing they could do because I replaced my screen and that voided my warranty.

Error 4013 can be caused by a whole bunch of reasons, including a bad battery or a corrupted NAND. I've had a few 6's that have pretty much the exact same problem. I tried everything as well, including replacing the battery, U2 (Tristar IC) and reballing the NAND.

To start, go through these steps:

  • Go back through this guide and double check to insure you didn't forget anything. Always disconnect the battery first and keep track of your screws.
  • Visually inspect, preferably with magnification, the connectors for the LCD, Digitizer, battery etc to see if there is any damage or debris.
  • The FPC connectors are easily damaged but when they connect properly, there should be a satisfying "snap".
  • Your replacement screen may be defective. Try to put back the original screen. If that one works, even though it is cracked, then your problem is with the replacement screen.
  • If you have access to a known-good battery, try replacing it. A "new" battery does not mean known-good...there are many low quality batteries on the market.

Also with 6+, when you snap the connetors in, push down on one side, then the other. Not in the middle

I second this. If pushed down in the middle it's too easy to bend the connector end concaved if that's the correct word.

Try a different cable, and restore in dfu again. This happens sometimes when repeatedly connecting cables. It's passable. I know it seems difficult, but you'll get past it and feel awesome. Oh, yeah. Use an oem cable

I have already tried 4 different cables (including a brand new one) and 2 different computers

When you say new... Do you mean an apple cable?

Yes, I actually figured it out and got it to work now. I had to take the Front Camera, Speaker, and sensor off of the broken screen and out it on to the new screen. For some reason the equipment that came on the new screen was not compatible with Apple's software. Thank you for your help though!
