I am a person using MacBook Pro in South Korea.

I understand the strange thing by using an English translator.

My MacBook Pro is the MacBook Pro 15 "Unibody Mid 2010.

I have several problems and I want to buy a logic board.

What I was wondering.

I wonder if I can install the MacBook Pro 15 "Unibody (Late 2011) 2.4 GHz Logic Board on my current MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2010.

I wonder if there is a higher logic board that is compatible with the MacBook Pro 15 "Unibody Mid 2010.

Yes, you can use that logic board in your 2010 MacBook Pro. Does your current MacBook logic board stop working suddenly after a few minutes of use? If so, you likely have a issue that is common among 2010 15" MacBook Pros that can be fixed by replacing the C9560 capacitor on your logic board.

Sorry, I presumed that the 2010 A1286 isight connector was different from the 2011, as it is on the 13" A1278 laptops, but it is 2009 and older that have the larger camera connector for the A1286 series. I've edited the answer accordingly Thank you for correcting @mayer !

@mayer , isn't the battery connector different though? From what I remember 2011 15" MacBook Pros have the flat connector that mounts from the top of the board, and the 2010 and older models have a connector that mounts from the side to the bottom.

If it is, change the battery.
