Repair guides for cell phones branded under the Microsoft Lumia name sold from November 2014 to early 2016. Lumia phones were also sold under the Nokia brand before 2014.
Can you tell me what model the phone is? I don't think any Lumias have water resistance. So the problem is water damage. Many parts, however could be fried. Try a local repair shop to see if they can tell you the source of the problem. Good Luck!
