@darrellk7, Darrell,You will probably have to take the receiver apart and switch/change out the volume control/encoder. On some models it is just a plug and other require control to be unsoldered and new soldered in. Links to Service manual and replacement part below ROTARY SWITCH ROTARY ENCODER SR02010090. Good luck.
