Help, my battery is shocking!

No, an iPhone 7 has a different battery.

However, I know there is an iPhone 6 software bug with the battery and I can give you instructinos on how to possibly fix this.

a) Backup the iPhone 6 in iTunes

b) put your iPhone into DFU mode:

Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.

Turn off the device.

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.

After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.

If you did this correctly, the "detected a device in Recovery Mode" should be on a blank black screen

c) let iTunes download the latest firmware -- this is a full update

it will take a while -- if the iphone reboots before the software download completes, once the download comepletes, do not update until you put the phone into DFU again

d) once you have successfully updated the iphone in DFU mode, it will ask you to restore from backup or setup as a new phone -- you want to set up as a new phone

e) once you have gone through the setup as a new phone steps, NOW restore from the backup you created in step "a"

After this has been done, its time to recalibrate your iPhone 6's battery. Do not charge the battery until it completely runs out of power. By this I mean when the phone shuts down, and if you plug it in to the charger, and you are able to immediately turn on the phone, unplug the charger and let the phone run down until will not immediate turn on. When this happens, let it charge over night to 100%. This should improve your battery issues.
