Sometimes the home button doesn't work
Sometimes e home button doesn't work and I can't exit a program or switch back to the icon screen

Simple answer is to use assistive touch. Getting the glass off completely intact isn't always easy. But fortunately the parts aren't expensive, and from iFixit, come with a home button and a lifetime warranty
