no picture when I open the screen to take a picture
There is no image in the screen when opened to take a picture. I see an image in the top photo lens.

@babs132 if your camera still takes pictures properly but you just cannot see them, it is possible that you have a bad LCD. Use this guide to check it and possibly replace it.
